All the chalk art we create for our chalkboard signs can be sealed. Most often the images, logos and headings are sealed. Some areas such as pricing are left unsealed and can be changed easily. Sealed chalkboard sign art can be cleaned with water and ammonia based cleaners like Windex.
To seal the signs we carefully cover any areas that will be left unsealed. Some signs such as the chalk menus in the middle left are completely sealed. Sealed art will last forever and cannot be removed. We do not use temporary sealants like hairspray.
