Hello everyone and happy spring day!  The rain has stopped for a few days and we feel like sponges that need to be wrung out after a long, soggy winter. It’s been warm and dry in the studio though as we crank out even more great chalkboard signs here at Chalk It Up Signs.  The latest was a round of a printed chalkboard specials sign. These were digitally printed for a special dinner as part of the Final Four basket ball tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona. Se below for images.

While each printed chalkboard may look hand drawn, each is actually a printed chalkboard from a digital file. We were contacted by Melt, one of the country’s leading sports and entertainment marketing firms. Melt’s job was to provide a printed chalkboard specials sign for each of the six Celebrity Chefs cooking for a special private dinner in Scottsdale, Arizona during the Final Four playoffs. Our job was to make each printed chalkboard and custom frame them here in the studio.  It’s not often you can say you were part of basketball history.  Rather, part of the eating that was a part of basketball history.  I know.  it’s a stretch.

A Printed Chalkboard is a great way to get that chalkboard look when you are in a rush.  A printed chalkboard is also great when you need many duplicates of the same design.
