Hello Friends. Today, we are going to talk about Hurricane Harvey Red Cross Relief

As some of you may know, I am a born and raised Texan.  I have joyfully lived, worked and loved in Canada for almost 20 years now, but the cells of my being were created in a place that is suffering greatly right now. I feel quite helpless up here, 2,000 miles away. I see the images and hear the stories of total devastation. I worry for friends and family in the zone. With all that in mind, Dave and I would like to do our part.  We are going to make a donation to the Hurricane Harvey Red Cross Relief fund with your help.

Texas can be a hard place to live weather-wise sometimes. It is also a glorious place to live. The people I know there are amazing. Friends, family neighbours and strangers come together so quickly. I believe this is simply human nature.  I can’t drive a boat or carry someone out of their home right now.  But I can gather a humble offering together with your help.
