HAPPY THANKSGIVING and HAPPY CHANUKAH
I hope you all had lots of yummies, lots of good times, football if you are that sort and that you each felt an overall sense of gratitude for something in your world. I hope that if you celebrate Chanukah, the first night was full of light and love.
I get to celebrate two Thanksgivings…Canadian and American. That means I get two turkey dinners with all the trimmings, two belly aches and two days filled with gratitude. Okay, actually I had sushi today, but I filled up on it, so that counts right? The part that really matters is the gratitude. I try to incorporate it into my life year round because I feel so lucky and grateful for my family, friends, fantasy island where I live and my job! It’s not everyone who gets to say they woke up, walked down to the ocean to check the boat and then spent the day colouring chalkboards for amazing clients. I am so totally lucky. We work hard around here and it is sometimes interesting living on an island (like when the power goes out), but overall, I would not trade it for a thing.
And here is the part I never forget…I would not be so lucky were it not for all the great customers, friends, supporters and passers-on of what we do here at Chalk It Up Signs. You all make the gratitude mean something. We love what we do and could not do it without you all.
And speaking of great customers, here are a few recent jobs for your perusal…Two 4 foot long boards for some great repeat customers and some new friends from the Trade Show we met last month, BC Abattoirs, hired us to do their logo.
Until next time and many thanks,
