I wish we could have a price list on the site. Because these are custom chalkboards, a price estimate requires size, design content & framing to be accurate. Let’s talk first about why we have such beautiful chalkboards. We use highly trained chalk artists. Our artists have designed and drawn thousands of chalkboards with art. The shading and texture they bring to the chalkboard artwork is exceptional. Here is a close up of a coffee cup. This kind of detailed work can’t be done with chalk ink markers or paint.

Another example of great chalk art would be the recent chalkboard sign we did for a New Brunswick, Canada butcher shop. This image shows the butcher and his wife. We we’re given photographs and created lifelike versions of the people. Not easy and it takes talent!

 

One of my favorite chalkboard signs we have made over the years is this one. It features Boticellis’ Birth of Venus . This chalkboard is 4 feet by 6 feet and hung in New York City at Times Square. The actual painting is in Florence, Italy. The design came from a tattoo that Guy Fieri has on his left arm. It was gift to him from a brewery owner when he opened up his Time Square Restaurant, Guy’s American Kitchen.
