The latest out of the Chalk It Up Signs studio this week is a chalk menu sign that stays local.  We created a chalkboard sign for the Board Game House in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. This is a cafe that serves food AND games.  What a great concept.  Dave and I plan to take our daughter for a family fun night.  This chalk menu sign incorporates the business’ fun logo, menu text and hand drawn illustrations. The illustrations are reflective of the food served as well as the game theme.  They also sell board games in their cafe.  I am seriously excited about this place.

CIUS has the opportunity to work on fabulous chalk menu signs for so many amazing businesses all over North America and beyond.  Often, I can’t keep my stomach from rumbling while writing out appetizing menu content.  In this instance, the client is local so we actually have the opportunity to  experience a venue where our sign works.
